Youth
Sr.
High
This ministry meets
most months in addition to the Education Hour offering.
These activities include fellowship, prayer and
study.
In 2002, the youth traveled to
Kentucky
to participate in work camp experience rebuilding homes in
Appalachia
.
This included painting, building walls, dry
walling, and other carpentry projects.
In 2003, fourteen youth headed to
Atlanta
,
Georgia
to join 25,000 other youth in a time of worship &
learning and service.
In 2006 we had 22 youth & adults travel to San Antonio for
the ELCA Youth Gathering. We are currently working
on a group of 14 youth and adults headed to New Orleans
in July of 2009.

Middle
School
At CtK we have blurred
the lines between education, fun and service.
In the past year the youth have served a community
meal, moved mulch, and participated in a scavenger hunt.
